GROWING HEIRLOOM VEGETABLES

Do you grow vegetables in your garden? I do. Even the smallest garden or balcony can support a few vegetables tucked in here and there.
This month Timberpress is promoting Heirloom Vegetables, a book all about the vegetables grown many years ago and  rare to find being sold in the grocery store. These vegetables, unlike many grown today, are open pollinated and the seeds will keep their traits of the parent. You can save seeds from these plants and expect to get the same plant when grown from these seeds.

Until March 23rd Timberpress are offering the opportunity to win 5 books, 35 heirloom seed packets and a certificate for a bare root fruit tree.

To take advantage of this offer all you have to do is link to their contest page and add your email address. Good luck.
