THEY LOVE IT

Yesterday was the first day that the butterflies seemed to be everywhere.





Swallowtails, monarchs and red admirals. They love the tall blooming spikes of Verbena bonariensis.

  8. I haven't seen that particular swallowtail with the orange and blue around my place. That's a beauty.

  9. Lucky you to have all those visitors! I haven't seen that particular verbena, but I have several other types and the butterflies seem to like them all!
