  1. The Wildflower Center tour is definitely on my schedule. Your photos are enticing enough to tip the scale for two consecutive Saturday trips to Austin.

  2. Which garden had the rattlesnake sculpture built into the walkway? I totally missed that. Very cool!

    1. It was in Lori Ann's front garden, set in the new paving in the front.

  4. Wow, where is that cool rattlesnake -- at the Ext office garden? It was fun touring around with you today. Garden tour season is off and running.

  5. So tempting. As the oak pollen eases a bit I'll be "touring" my own spaces mostly, trying to get caught up with chores that would have been done during the last 3-4 weeks when I was stuck indoors. I'll look forward to seeing the tour reports here and on other Austin blogs to keep me inspired as I see what is possible in our area.

    1. Sounds as though allergies have been keeping you in doors. Hopefully we will get some nice pollen-free days before the heat really sets in.

  6. I hope you'll be posting more photos for those of us not in the Austin area -- I'd love an in-depth look at some of these gardens!

  7. Wish I could pop in both weekends - always some great gardens where you have a horticultural culture. Sigh...

  9. You got this up fast. I'm still editing.
It's so fun to see the gardens, through others' lenses.
I didn't see the snake, either.
It was a great day. Nice spending time with people who 'get' me, when all I want to talk about is plants.

  10. Editing? What is that. I never edit my photos. They come straight from the camera, good or bad. Glad you could join us for the tour.

    1. Most of my editing is cropping and that still takes me a long time. That pink climber must be Old Blush. What a beauty. I like the snake next to the path too.
