恭禧發財 GONG XI FA CAI

Today, the first day of the Chinese New Year, we returned home from a wonderful tour of Taiwan, Indonesia and Malaysia. After spending Christmas in Taiwan, where our eldest son lives with his family, we had 3 weeks traveling, returning to spend the last few days back in Taipei. There we visited temples and markets and witnessed the intense preparations for the celebration of the Chinese New Year.  I hope you will join me, as I relive many of the places we visited, during the next few weeks. For now here are some of the horses we saw displayed to welcome the year of the horse.
