CAUGHT IN THE ACT

It is only the end of February and yet today the first poppy. I just happened to catch it before it burst forth.

  3. My poppies are blooming too and HUGE this years. At least the ones that seeded into the veggie bed which is the only place that I augment soil. SO pretty!

  5. I haven't seen any poppies popping yet, so thanks for the preview. I am seeing all sorts of trees budding out. Today, I even saw a mesquite leafing out. Amazing. Spring is here for sure.

  6. jenny, Don't you love emerging flowers. I'm always reminded of a ballet recital with little ballerinas as flowers opening in spring. gail

  7. Everything seems to be budding and blooming early this year. My daffodils began blooming at the end of January. Your poppy is lovely...the color is so deep and beautiful.
