The morning couldn't have been more perfect. A wonderful coolness in the air and the garden refreshed from a little rain and a cool night.
..... and sky blue flax Linnium perenne.
The common native cosmos, Cosmos sulphurous. Guaranteed to put in an appearance every year. The goldfinches have a feast on the seeds in the fall. It comes in shades of yellow and orange. Now if only the day would stay this way.

Just gorgeous! Thanks for the treat.
I love the textures and colors in your garden. I hope your day was a special one.
I sowed a lot of the orange cosmos this year. I'm partial to pink and purple in the garden, but I adore that cosmos after my first experience with it last year!
That is just beautiful hun, thanks for sharing. Have a great day~ Brooke
Iris, walk 2 write, Robin and Brooke,
It is such a relief when the spring flowers fade to find you still have some plants coming into flower. I had agapanthus in pots and when I divided them I put some in the ground, just to see. This year they are flowering profusely.
Hi RR.
That last shot of the Gazanias is smashing! I always see so many plants that I want whenever I visit your blog. They remind me of those sycamore seeds we used to throw up in the air as kids and watch them helecopter down.
ESP.
Gorgeous shots! I love all of the plants blooming in the cracks between the stones.
