GETTING ACCLIMATIZED
It's time for home and I am getting myself acclimatized. Today the temperature hit 100 degrees.
That's me underneath Delicate Arch, in Arches National Park. We took the 3 mile hike to the arch setting off early but not early enough! It did me in for the rest of the day. I'm just not used to this heat but the scenery sure is spectacular. I'd better get used to it, though.

Arches is such a cool place! We visited in June, and had the same experience as you. i think March is probably a good idea!

It is amazing how huge that arch is...I can barely see you. It is a beautiful vista, however.
There is almost as much plant life in my garden as there is around that arch. Don't let your self get too hot, you can do permanent damage.
At 100 degrees, you're still several degrees shy of acclimating back to Austin. Hot, hot, hot! Great pic though.
All I can say is "Wow".
