It's time for home and I am getting myself acclimatized. Today the temperature hit 100 degrees.
That's me underneath Delicate Arch, in Arches National Park. We took the 3 mile hike to the arch setting off early but not early enough! It did me in for the rest of the day. I'm just not used to this heat but the scenery sure is spectacular. I'd better get used to it, though.
oh my arching back! lol
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing place! Thanks for sharing it with us.
ReplyDeleteIt is such a beautiful place--but visit it in March---much much more pleasant to hike then.
ReplyDeleteWow!
ReplyDeleteI didn't see you in the picture!
It's huge!
What an amazing picture!! Thanks for posting.
ReplyDeleteHA I didn't even see you!!! Funny. How incredible!
ReplyDeleteArches is such a cool place! We visited in June, and had the same experience as you. i think March is probably a good idea!
ReplyDeleteAmazing place. I didn't notice you either, until you pointed you out.
ReplyDeleteIt was cool here, this morning. But, just a tease. We'll be triple digits by afternoon....again.
Stay cool...
It is amazing how huge that arch is...I can barely see you. It is a beautiful vista, however.
ReplyDeleteThere is almost as much plant life in my garden as there is around that arch. Don't let your self get too hot, you can do permanent damage.
ReplyDeleteAt 100 degrees, you're still several degrees shy of acclimating back to Austin. Hot, hot, hot! Great pic though.
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is "Wow".
