Just look at how organized she is. Seed trays and gardening gloves. Well, at least one glove. Better than her Nana who rarely wears them.
I think the whole packet of peppers went into this pot!
But transplanting is already underway.

Good for you to encourage that. My son loved playing in the dirt and helping me plant stuff. I even gave him his own patch and he picked what got planted. That was many years ago and now as a teen he couldn't care less. I only hope I laid a foundation he will come back to one day.
That's fantastic -- she sure looks like she's having fun! Early start means more years of gardening to look forward to!
Precious, beautiful child. No wonder you are proud. That one glove is too cute. My youngest son had his own little tools and loved helping me in the garden. The eldest thought any type of yard work or gardening was a curse. The youngest, now 38, is an avid gardener; and, take heart, Les, the eldest, would you believe, is crazy for potted tropicals and house plants! So, I feel that my love for growing things was still passed on to them both, as it was from my Irish grandfather to me. I love that continuous thread, don't you?
She's adorable. Seed starting and children are naturals together. They are both miracles.

Could she be any cuter? (no) How wonderful that you two have this connection to cross the miles with. When I was about her age my parents let me pick out a little plastic contraption for growing marigolds, I loved that thing!

That's really cool. Awesome Nana! I remember how my Grandparents taught me out in the gardens growing up and it makes me smile. Hope you have some wonderful and healthy plants.

My gardening grandmothers were my inspiration. One grew nothing but veggies, but the other grew any and everything that flowered. How wonderful that Vivian already shares your love of plants and growing from seed! She's beautiful, and her eyes show her intent personality. My one grandchild is 16 months old, and I look forward to sharing gardening with her.
